The essence of a landscape is the complex combination of nature, flora, fauna and culture. No element overpowers the other, and no element can survive without the other. In my designs I look at a landscape holistically, from the cultural context and human behaviour to the natural characteristics of the ecosystem.
My designs are ecological and socially sustainable, my work ethic in line with the natural laws of the land: sensible, adaptive and regenerative.

Andrew Dean Robertson
Bio
Born and raised in Massachusetts in the United States, I have always had an itch to travel. While I have settled down in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, I spent much of my time in the mountains where I am always looking for a balance between my fascination for urban, human centered design and my love for the wild. Seeking to integrate that balance in my work, I have designed urban parks, green roofs, and residential properties for many firms in the United States and the Netherlands.
Educated at Syracuse University and trained at the forward thinking Conway School, I am a “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional” (LEED AP) with over twenty years of professional experience in ecological design, community development, high-end residential design, luxury resort planning, project, management, and community relations. I am a motivated, self-reliant and responsible individual that has built a strong network of experts I collaborate with on a regular basis.
